New Day Church gathers weekly in the following ways:

We Gather to Know Christ in Worship – Sundays 10 a.m.

To “know Christ” in the Scriptures means more than merely attaining information. It has to do with both understanding and experience. We want people to understand the Gospel and experience the life-changing power of Jesus. We believe this pursuit of more intimate knowledge of Christ never ends, since the riches of Christ are “unsearchable” (Eph. 3:8). We want unbelievers to come to know Christ as Lord and Savior and for the believer to press on to know Christ more (Phil. 3:10).

Therefore, we will meet weekly to Know Christ Intimately in Worship by exalting Him and studying His Word. We will gather for corporate worship, the study of the Scriptures, prayer, fellowship, taking the Lord’s Supper, and the giving of our offerings – all of it – that we may know Christ more and more. Personally, we also want to help people know Christ more intimately through daily spiritual practices.

New Day Church gathers in homes for corporate worship.  This practice facilitates community, accountability, financial stewardship, and pastoral shepherding.  A typical evening will involve music, open session and participation, and a main teaching time.  If you would like to join us for worship call Pastor William at 850-419-7700 to get the address and directions to this week’s gathering.

We gather to Grow Spiritually in Community – Wednesdays at 6pm

We long to see believers grow into the image and likeness of Christ. To accomplish this, we are committed to form healthy Missional Communities (MC) that focus on helping disciples submit all of life to the empowering presence and Lordship of Jesus.  These MCs are encouraged to gather regularly in three ways.  First, the “Family Gathering” is an in-home gathering for the purpose of livingout the “one anothers” in Scripture. This gathering involves the following practices:

  1. Hospitality (belonging, being, becoming)
  2. Sharing
  3. Study and discussion of the previous Sunday’s sermon
  4. Prayer
  5. Freedom to digress
  6. Worship
  7. Discuss local ministry projects

Second, the MCs gather in smaller groups of 2-4 people in what’s called “DNA Groups” where they will Discover God’s Word, Nurture relationships, and Apply God’s word through repentance, faith, and obedience.

Third, the MCs gather in a “Third Place;” a neutral, public location where outsiders can be introduced to Jesus and the MC.

Each MC is given the liberty to organize their regular gatherings in such a way that best meets their normal rhythms of life.

We gather & scatter to Live Missionally in the World

We will equip covenant members to Live Missionally in the World locally and globally every day.

We believe that Jesus calls every believer to be a missionary. Together, we are to “go into the world and make disciples of all nations.”

Our method for engaging the world is the practice of good deeds and the proclamation of good news.  We summarize our global plan with the acronym“G.O.S.P.E.L.”
